The museum and its exhibition are easy to find and to access. The paintings were well presented and the selection was interesting.
The staff who welcomes the guests is however very strict. One has to follow and obey some internal procedures.
As a foreigner, I would describe it as very formal and German style.
Don't get me wrong, the staff is polite but very rule oriented.
However, if you are in the aerea, it is definitely worth to visit the place.
Overall nothing to write home about but worth checking out. There are also some nice paintings of cats!
It is a museum....Given the size of the town it ain't too bad...but they show that they have a display of Kandinsky - One...It is in the old Castle...so if you're in town and want to learn about the history of the town - visit...but don't expect many a masterpiece. (my opinion).
A nice little museum of the town's history. We were there for the Horvath exhibit, which was very nice, and contains a remarkable amount of material in one room. Unfortunately only some of the labeling was in English, which made it harder for us to get much from a lot of the content.
Expensive, not too special. The burgers looked appetizing.
Very nice museum and the restaurant below the museum is the perfect place for lunch.
Great museum specially if you are interested in the art of Gabriele Münter and the other guys of Der Blaue Reiter. Nice treasure hunt for kids makes the visit fun for them too. Very friendly lady at the cashier.
